Not even some of my Club Members know I did this, but long ago, for a friend I made a 1/800th scale USS Independence Aircraft Carrier.  I don’t usually do ships that much, but this one came out pretty good for an Amateur.

It came out looking real good.

I use to build ships. I once built the Bismark, and though to have some fun. So I floated in my pond, and then threw a rock at it. The rock hit on the deck, and it bobbed up and down. So I turn around to get another rock, turned back. GONE! The unsinkable Bismark sunk. It was a shame too, it was motorized. The guns moved and the propeller moved it along, at the same time.

In going to the NorEAstCon, they had a guy who built a Large Missouri.  And I mean Large.  It was about 6 feet long.  And then he also had a Sub that was not in scale with the ship, but was Big and impressive as well.  I missed it, but they had it in the Hotel Pool.

I have pictures somewhere of it.  But that was a Cool RC Boat.

It was actually 8' long. They never did put it in the pool though. I had been hoping to see it float!!! It was however, awesome!!

The guy that was there said it was in the pool.

When I was asking him, he said that it was in the pool, and he had the sub coming after the Battleship.  Do you think he lied to me?

I won't say he lied, but I didn't witness it. I had been told by the hosts that it never made the pool. I'd been watching to see if it got splashed!!
