Model comes molded in a tan color with separate packing for wind screen and windows.
Directions are explicite and very visual in nature leaving little to the imagination it seems.
Tires (five) are standard black vinyl military type. Details are numerous and intricate with many small delicate styrene parts. All the details seem to be there.
There are plenty of weapons included with the kit though there is only one seated figure who comes in several parts. Figure details are crisp and well sculpted with optional cap or helmet.
There are decals giving the option of three different versions with three different license plates and insignia and numbers.
Model may be constructed with cloth top up or down.
Price is about $28 but I got it half off at Hobby Lobby. Quite a deal, I think.
I bought the model to go along with the PL Herbie kits since the real cars were made by the same company and similar in design under the hood and in the chassis. It is essential a 'jeep' version of the Beetle and stood up to some very hard conditions in a variety of climates.
