I was pleaantly surprised to find that my 1926 Mack AC Bulldog model was included in the Scale Auto Magazine Annual Contest Issue. That is the second time I've gotten a photo of my work in that magazine.

Yeah the bed is made from basswood strips I ripped down on my bandsaw. I have several of the Mack kits on the shelf. They're mostly the flatbeds but I have a tanker and a couple of the dumptrucks as well. I was going to do a diorama with them but the scope of the story I wanted to tell would take up too much room in that scale.
Instead, I'm going to do the project in HO scale (1:87). Jordan makes kits of the same Mack in 1:87 plus I can get building parts in the right scale from Grandt Line. In fact, I got part of the building stuff yesterday at the local hobby shop.
Where's the "10 Plate" for my damn Optivisor?
