Well the Ortho Doc has concluded that I don't do anything normal. He has confirmed that I have a minor separation of my left shoulder, a pulled or slightly torn rotator cuff and a bulging disc in my neck. None of which are serious by themselves but taken together they're a bit of a problem.
He's given me a month of physical therapy three days a week . I go back to see him on 12/28 . Looks like I'm on accident leave til the first of the year.
Yup, fallin apart. I gotta find a new line of work. This running into burning buildings is for young guys.

Yea, I know about falling apart. With both knees needing to be replaced, but at 47, they say I am too young. Bone spurs on the spine, degenerating disks. Went to physical therapy, three days a week, for four weeks. Finished last week, did not help. Put on pills, so far making the pain worst. Been out of work for one year, seven months, waiting for disabillity appeal case to come up.
At least I have half a mind. That is better than none.
Hey Doc, I guess walking in rather than running is out of the question, huh?
Yeah, getting older is no fun. The bulges tend to be in differant places, and sleeping through the night becomes a thing of the past. And rotator cuffs aren't the thing you want to pull.
Jeez Lloyd, I didn't thing things we're that far along for you. You my sympathies. The epidural steroid injections have done wonder for my back. And the PT is working well too, haven't had any real pain in weeks. My condition is degenerative so we'll see what the future holds.
Thanks, my friend. I am glad the treatment is working for you. I alway forget some of my pain, when I talk to all my modeling friends. Having all of you is a great help.
