I haven't started it yet, but I always wondered if anyone has found a good way of getting rid of the Seam in the Glass head of the Old Robot.
I thought that I could suspend the Components in a Mold, and then pour in Clear Resin. But the point of being able to know if it was correctly positioned inside the mold comes to mind.
have you ever tried the novice polish i think thats what its called i know it help to tale scratches out of plastic lenses it has a few steps to it not sure if that could help
As I understand it the way the real head was done was started as a globe then press down to it's shape. I am not saying to do the same but if you look at the web http://www.b9robotbuildersclub.com/ a buck can be made almost the same shape then casted or vac form and a clear disk can be made for the bottom like the big guy
