Very impressive fleet. I am just a spaceship builder mainly, but I love to see all types of models. These are some fine looking ships.

Mike, Post a new subject and show a picture of the ship you did with your Son.  If you have any.

Mike,

Excellant job on all the ships!!! I especially like the job you did on the Grosser Kurfurst.

I built the 350 scale Blue Water Navy Juneau about two years ago for a customer. Attached is a picture. Also attached is a picture of the CSS Tennessee, which is a 1/600 scale Thoughrobred Miniature kit. Two parts, and some painting!!

Very cool.  And I love the way some are presented, so how did you do the water effect?

Thanks Lloyd,

The Tennessee kit is only two real pieces, the hull/casement and stack. I added stays for the pipe from made from .005 stainless steel wire, and a flag. The rest is all painting. They're cool little models and I can bang one out in a few nights.

Wow, very impressive stuff.  I especially like the Russian ice breaker, it's something I've never seen anybody build before.
