I like the changes to the asteck pattern. I still like the lights on the name and ship numbers. If they did it like that on STMP, then I would like the 1701A better. I will wait and see what you come up with the hangar, and deflector. It is looking really beautiful. Lloyd

Thanks, she is turning out quite nice if I do say so myself.  I must admit to being somewhat confused here as I was more or less taking my hull lighting cues from TMP.

The nacelles are back in the shop for some needed maintenance but here is a little more modeling and a little more texturing...

Now I know most everyone has their own particular idea about how they'd like to see the implulse engines handled but what do you think here?  I tried to keep it simple while still trying to give it a feeling of "depth".

I like the look of the impulse engines. As for the STMP lights, they went too far on the amount of lights. Useing the dental mirrors, to put the lights everywhere, did not look real. Yours is very tasteful.

Is the Impulse Engines extended out more than usual?  They look fine to me!

No dental mirrors here that's for sure.

The impulse engines may infact be too big.  I didn't really cross check anything for size.  I can say one thing for sure is that they are smaller than what I had before.  Well, not as wide anyway.

And the process continues...  Changes, Changes, who can spot the changes?

I DON"T KNOW! Why put that kind of pressure on me!!

Why is the bridge dome still green?

Well the nacelles are present in a few of those.  Mostly I'm adding more first and second pilot Enterprise details to her.  And in fact with just a few small exceptions (like some windows) it's all down to textures now.  Hopefully by the end of this weekend she'll be finished.  Which will then leave the texturing of K-7 and the modeling/texturing of the D-6.  At this rate the animation can begin by Christmas...

Hope you feel better!

Good to see the f-word.

I actually had another F-word earlier.  I was cleaning up the file (i.e. deleting pieces that are no longer needed) and deleted the B/C Deck.  To make matters worse I did not notice it until it was way past the opportunity to undo.

Three cheers for backups!!!

OK, I'm sure there are some details I'm neglecting (like the fantail lights) but here are the preliminary orthographics and some other renders.  Note:  The lighting for the A-C decks has been adjusted up but since these we're made so the final (larger) set will show those better.

Are the Warp Engines larger than the normal one for that Starship?  For some reason the look longer.
