You know...I've been posting and reading posts here for a couple of weeks, now, and I seem to have skipped over this section! Sorry!
I'm Jeffrey, just turned 29 on the 11th...thanks to those who sent me the birthday wishes! I've been a modeler since I was about 4 or 5...literally, cardboard boxes, scissors and scotch tape, I'd build houses, cars, all kinds of things. As I got older, my materials and skills became more sophisticated, and around the age of 8 or 9, I discovered Star Trek, and the models of Star Trek...haha!! I love it. I still do architecural modeling (a little, entirely for fun, not profit...yet!) and the occasional car or sci-fi ship model. I'm currently working on a PL 1:350 Refit, and after that an AMT/Ertl 1:350 Klingon Bird of Prey...I had one before, but a giant black space cat (my little darling, Snooks) managed to defeat the Bird of Prey with one fell swoop!
When not building little things out of cardboard, paper, wood or plastic, I build big things out of wood, cloth and cardboard...I'm a sometime set designer/builder for several local community theatres, and I also act, sing, dance (a little!) and play piano. I'm currently playing a supporting role in a production of "Fiddler on the Roof" which opens a week from tonight! I also work parttime in the kitchen at a restaurant, but am currently looking for more profitable employment.
Anyway...thanks for the invite to join here, Tholian! I've enjoyed my stay, thus far, and look forward to continued fun!

Thanks!
While Ft. Madison and IC aren't exactly next door neighbors, it's only about an hour or so away.
"If I were a rich man..." too! One of my favorite lines in "Fiddler": "I realize it's no great shame being poor, but it's no great honor, either!"

Cool beans, someday when you are going that way, I will have to tell my Brother and maybe you can say hello. He is not into modeling, but I have sent my nieces Snap-Kits from time to time.
