Need Forbidden Planet photos

I need help! I have a model of the C-57D, and need some pictures of the ship, from the movie. I searched the web, and good shots from the movie are rare. I found pictures of the models, but prefer screen grabs from the DVD. I don't own the DVD,so any help would be appreciated!

You don’t have the Ultimate Sci-Fi Story?  The one that began all Sci-Fi after it?

You Heathen!!

It's ok, I have the movie and took some screen shots for you.  I would go by the First 4 though.  The last Picture I think is an Artwork matt that was placed in the scene.  If you notice, the Top globe part is a bit too big in the last picture than the other pictures.

Hope they Help.  Basically, except for that Different tone of Silver you see in the upper half flyby on the outer edge.  You probably could do the whole ship in metalizers.

I have to get mine out someday and start on it as well.

This heathen thanks you, Tom!

They are perfect shots. I should have mentioned it, but my model is not the PL one.
I have a two piece vacuformed model, 6 1/2 inches wide. So now I have to decide weather to build it flying, or landed.

Thanks again,
Lloyd

Build it crash landed.  That way you get the best of both worlds.

Not sure if it helps, but the Red part during flight rotated around like that of the Old Jupiter 2.  In case you didn't remember.

^^I am sure that, I am not sure about that.

It was a shame that a TV series was not created, based on Forbidden Planet.

I just saw a Forbidden Planet VHS at Goodwill for $2... would have bought it, but I already got one you see...   In any case I'm finding a lot of VHS sci-fi turning up in the thrift shops right now, and yes I know it's not the dvd, and that's better and all but it's still pretty cool to have visual refferences on the cheap.

Oh, and as for scale... The internet tells me that Leslie Nielsen is 5'11" so if you can see him standing next to the ship, you can get a rough idea.

You could do a diorama with a giant Agnes Moorehead smashing it with an axe! Good TZ episode.

I thought there were two: Lost in Space and Star Trek
