Sorry, old age again.  The similar FX was causing me to merge two different episodes.  I've untangled them now.  Too bad though, Apollo VS Surak might have been interesting.

^^You old age? It is called too much on your mind.

Now that the Cybermat is finished, it is back full time to this one. Now working on the stair/legs.

Got this far on the steps. I am working on the handrails. It is kind of funny,I built handrails as a profession. Next to the stair, is a crew man. I have 2, but not sure if to put them on the steps, or one on each side, as guards.

Still alot to do. Two more stairs, and some work inside the ship, at the top of the stairs.

Looks great Lloyd.  You get a perspective of it's size next to those Paint bottles.  Looks like it will turn out great!

I thank you, for the praise.

The handrails, as small as they are, are a real pain to work on.
I added a wall at the top of the stairs, and working on the other walls. Good thing I have a lot of spare model parts.

Looks great, Lloyd!

That looks like the old Lunar Models C-57D.  Is it mostly vac-formed w/some resin bits?  I don't think that the 1/100 scale fig's look quite right next to it, tho.  I'd suggest perhaps 1/144 scale fig's, if you've got any or can find some of them.

Thanks, Jeffery.

The figure is 1/144. 1/100 was to big. This is not Lunar Models. It is only a two piece model, with no landing gear. All of the gears, and stairs, I am scratch/kit bashing.

More pictures tomorrow.

Nice work man.  Small, but the details you're adding are coming along very well.

Thanks,4MM!

I was going to take some pictures, but I got behind. I took my dog to get spayed, so I was giving her more of my time.

Here are two pictures of the ship. Not the best, but, you can see the silver paint job, and the red handrails. To give an idea of the size of the rails, the straight middle post, are 1/16 inch high.

Still got some more to finish, but I wanted to update.

I'd love to see some clearer pics of those stairs.  They look like you did a great job on them.

Not much clearer, but closer of the stair with rails. All three stairs were built the same.I am using a webcam for upclose shots.

Looks good.  Nice even spacing everywhere and an interesting background on that image.  Sort of Tuscadero meets the desert.

Been busy with going to doctors, so nothing new done. I am going to have to make a jig , to hold the legs at equal spacing. Maybe this weekend.
