Holy Grails Found

While at the IPMS Region II convention, I ran across a couple of my holy grail kits.I found the Revell HMS Victory languishing on the bottom of a stack of kits on a vendors table. Right alongside of it was the Heller double kit of Lief Erikson's long boats. Took them and the Revell Russian Spy Trawler for a paltry 20 bucks. Then ran across the old Lindberg French St Louis for another $10. Life is good....

Sounds like you had better luck at the Region II then you had at the Nationals.

Yeah my shopping spree at Atlanta was a bit of a bust. I did find a few of the items I wanted. Mostly, I got the very last set (on the planet I think) of Camel Decals for my Honda MotoGp bike. And of course those teeny tiny tug boats.

I think those Tugs are da-Bomb!  I was thinking of getting those to maybe push the 1/350 Enterprise you gave me, or maybe the 1/350 Titanic that I can't seem to get out of the box.
