Got today, from the UFO series Shado's Moonbase model kit. I have been wanting this for years, but did not want to pay the price. It was $90.00, for the plastic kit. The model is not very accurate, but with some bashing, it will look like the series. It says it comes with 14 small vehicles from the series, but their are really 17. Is is a remake of IMAI's base, so it is a toy. You have opening doors and firing rockets on the base.
Now this model will go good with my SKY1, and MOBILE from the series. Not going to start anytime soon.
The Holiest of Holy Grails arrived last week. After nearly a year of unsucessful bids to get a 1/100 HMS Victory on eBay, I got lucky. Somebody must've needed the cash because it was on for a "Buy it Now" of $100. I must've logged on right after he out it up.
Now to get my hands on the rest of the 1/96 ships I blew up as a kid. Thermopylae, Pedro Nunes, United States and Kearsarge.

Any chance of getting some pictures of the K-7 kit before you start it? One of my all time favorite Trek "ships". I guess I'll have to finish texturing mine before you are ready to paint yours.
