Tok the Bride to see Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire today. Took in the Noon Matinee at the local theater. Had the place all but to ourselves. I counted 10 people in the theater including us.


Good flick. Special Effects are awesome. Much darker than the previous three films. Followed the book pretty well.


Saw that Pirates of the Carribean II is due out in July.

I am going to see Potter this weekend. Never read the books, but love the movies.

They are havinf a Pirates 2?  Didn't know that.


 


Picked up War of the Worlds today.  Awesome effects.  Wonder if they will ever make a model of the Tripods.

That is correct they filmed the last two entries of the trilogy simultaneously. A friend on one of the other boards I belong to is on the F/X/Technical Crew.  She teaches sword play and helps with period clothing stuff. She also does some of the CGI work.

The movies keep getting better and better. It is darker, and scarier. The effect-WOW! Got to see it again.


For the trailer, I got Superman Returns. I don't know, it looks like it will be a really good movie, but I hate remakes. Just like King Kong, I will watch it, but I prefer the original.
