Hello all.  As part of my overall Cairo animation project I'm creating the K-7 station.  Let's start the ball rolling with a look at the beginnings of the landing bay.

If I can, I want use your work in my model. Any chance of any other views? What is that in the window on the left? Any close ups? I really like it! But you know already know, I am a fan of your work.

If you can?  I'd be insulted if you didn't

So far only one person has discerned what that is.  It's an Old-Earth poster from what they used to call "The Movies".

Here's a couple of shuttles.  One from K-7 and one from Enterprise.

And here is (part of) the K-7 shuttlecraft.

Beautiful shots! They will help with my model. I wonder if you can take the shot station 51, and give me a shot of the far wall, but flat. Just the wall head on.

I am getting parts from my junk box,for in side the bay. On the model, the bay is 1 1/2 inches wide, and 1/2 inch high, but I need to figure the depth. That is where you come in. Please!

Rendering a hires orthographic of the back wall now.  When it's done I'll also give you the relative dimensions of my landing bay.

And here is the back wall (2328 x 651).  I'll be back shortly with those measurements.

And here they are...

These measurements are from the corners and do not include the rounded portion.  Also they are in no particular scale at this time just relative to each other:
186.219 Wide
53.612 Tall
77.440 Deep

Including the rounded part it is 102.398 deep from the centerline.  Opening is 60 degrees.

Thanks! That was what I needed. I have printed up your views inside the hangar, and that is what I am using, to build the model. Got to have reference material. Can you give me any other views, so I can print out to help me?

In order to do the sides properly I'll have to "cut" and seperate some parts.  And you do realize that I don't chop up my meshes for just anyone...

...Rendering now so I'll get the images up as soon as I can tomorrow.

It's been awhile since doing some in-the-dark renders so why not now.  Also I've rendered a shot with my Cairo.  Sort of a peek into the (far?) future.

NICE!

Talk about the BLACK of space. I got to see some time later making the Cairo. It will be a nice addition to the growing 1/1000 fleet I am doing.

K-7 and the Cairo are two of the stars of my animation I'll be doing.  Do I smell a dio (I hope)?

Well....I had planned to have the K-7, TOS 1701,and Klingon, for a Trouble With Tribbles Dio. But you never know.

ACK!  Those darn tribbles.  That's cool, I suspected that was your plan anyway.  You wouldn't happen to know where I can get a "digital" D-6 do you?

As for any updates,I am still puttying, sanding and priming the pieces. Once that is done, I can start fitting it together.
