Here is a test photo of the hangar deck, with four shuttles. Notice my research pictures.

Very, very cool.  Have to start calling you "Mr. Micro" if you keep doing all this "high detail in small spaces" stuff.

Mr.Micro? I like that. Sounds like a villian name.

Wait till I paint the shuttles! Where is C.M.D.F. when you need them?

Looks fantastic Lloyd.  I love the accuracy and detail.  Keep it up.

Thanks, Tom!

You are not late, I haven't finished yet.

Any Idea how to make 1/1000 scale decals for the shuttles?

When I glue the arms with the pods on them, to the main body, what glue would be the best for holding the weight. I am going to have one support tube on the bottom of the model, like they do for filming models. I don't want it to fall apart.

I am going to put panel lines on the model, and pencil does not look right. Any suggestions?

I think if you used Brass Rod or tubing, that would hold the weight much nicer than tube styrene.  Not sure which you were intending on using anyways.  LOL

I agree some brass rod should hold nicely.  More dirlling though.

Have you considered decals for the panel lines?  Personally I say you should laser etch them.  Should cost very much... right?

Not sure I mentioned it, but the tubing for the arms, that come with the model, are metal.
As for using decals for the panel lines, I had thought of that, and I might have to try it.

I contacted Thomas, to see about the decals for the shuttles. He said, at that small size , no. So I will do what I can.
Back to working on the hangar.

Update on the hangar. Below, you can see I have been doing some work. The white windows, are the window decals, from the PL TOS 1701. When lit, they will look on. The shuttle decals I made, came out ok, so It is ago for the rest of the shuttles.

Also, notice my Who Morns for Adonis shot, of the shuttle, in the palm of my hand. Small ain't it!

Nice work lloyd! Looks like your getting a very nice detailing level in a tiny scale, not easy to do. I've been real busy lately, finishing up a very detailed AT-AT project, and taking care of my Mom who busted her Hip. Still around, just no time to roam the net right now. I do check in on your project lloyd! Keep going!

Very, very cool.  It would be nice if possible to get a clearer shot of the shuttle.  Really nice work

I wouldn't really worry about the decals for that.  the size of it, and what you did looks fantastic.  Unless anyone pulls out a Magnifing Glass, I don't think you have anything to worry about.
