I am keeping at it. I have a bad habit of starting a model, and if it takes too long, I put it aside. But I am going to see this one all the way. I am inspired by your work to do my best.
Here are the pods KB and KC finished, with lights on. The small lights on the end of eack pod, was figured out, by watching Simon Mercs's work on his web site. I used a bundle of fibre optics, with the LED pointed at it to get the glow. The color is stain glass transparent paint.
I need encouragement. I post on four forums, and only a handful of comment. The worst group is at Thomas's forum. I had about 100 views, and no comments, so I deleted the link and told them removed for lack of interest. It was awhile later before someone asked what was going on.
If it wasn't for the interest of the few of you, I would have quit. I have been working on this for over three months. Normally I would have got bored, and started another model.
I am just hooked up to Thomas's forum, but really haven't posted much over there. Not sure what happened with him and the Habby Talk forum, but I can see he receeded from the Union. LOL
As for our encouragement, you don't need any of that. You should know already you are doing a great job. I have yet to this day, light up any of my Models unless they came "to Be" lit up. I have done the Ban-Dai kits with the exception of the "E". that one still sits on my shelf waiting to be put together.
As for adding light to something that didn't have it in the first place, you beat me hands down.
Plus this forum seems to be nice and quiet and no bashing and stuff like that.
