I am happy to report that Doc did not in fact, drop any of his models. So that part was a success.
It was a great time, and as usual, the vendor room was full of great Car models. I picked up a couple myself, and Jimmy Flintstone was there with even more than Cars, which made me pick up a Bust of Herman Munster. Darn Darn Darn!!
Un official reports put the final model count at just south of 1650. Which I believe is a record.
The work on the tables was outstanding and the vendor room got the lion's share if my hobby budget for the year.
Here's the "haul"
Let's see Two each of the new Ford Fairlane Stockers and the 65 Chevelles. Three Top fuel drag kits which will be donors for the Tony Schumacher Army, Larry Dixon Miller Light and the Kenny Bernstein Bud King cars.
A 1963 Galaxy 500 which will be another rust bucket.
The Camaro was slated to be a late model sportsman but I missed the "T" Top on the car so it'll go on the "to be sold" shelf. The Dart Sportsman will be a Saturday Night Special car.
I got the resin detail parts for my Corvette Grand Sports as well as the decals and paint.
The Engine for the Porsche 917.
A whole stack of detail goodies for the Mark Martin and Matt Kenseth Taurus cars from last year.
And the RD 600 Conversion for my Mack Flatbed delivery truck.
Not a bad way to spend a few bucks.

Their "official" total was 1853 models displayed and over 1300 crazed plastic-heads thru the door. They have posted the pictures, supposedly they got a pic of every entry! I certainly filled my shopping list, plus other stuff that I didn't even know I was looking for. As always, a great day!
