Here is something I've been working on as a way to keep my sanity in an insane business world these past few weeks...

And for you people out there that we're living under rocks in the 70's, this is an Eagle Transporter from "Space: 1999"...

Don't run down my rocks! They were warm and safe.

Glad you post them over here. The Eagle is still one of my favorite ships. If I had about $1000 to blow, I can get a die cast two foot model.

Are you going to put red stripes on the pod?

For about a half that you could build the 44 inch large studio model.  Same with the large Hawk model.

Great to see the Eagle, and good job on it!

Yeah those limited edition metal Eagles are pretty nice.  Although you ought to be able to pick one up for around $800.00.  Better get them quick though only 1500 being produced (and only 200 of the rescue Eagles).

The main texture I plan is having the passenger pod layout.  But it will be a simple matter to add the red stripes of the rescue pod.  The model I had as a kid, of course, had the red stripes.

When AMT reissued the Eagle, I bought one, and the Moonbase Alpha model. I just can't get myself to pay $800 to $1000 for a model.

I have been a fan of the Eagle, ever since the series came out. Shows you how old I am. I watched when they came out, ST,BSG,SW,and all of the Iwin Allen shows.

I have one of the old toys of that thing.  It has a missing leg, so someday I am going to resin Cast a replacement.  Just so it looks good.  LOL
